SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Idaho Department of Lands is proposing a timber sale called The Narrows along the west
side of Warren Wagon Road, from Crescent Rim subdivision to Deadhorse Creek. Approximately 6,820,000 board feet will be harvested over 896 acres. The attached information from Dept.
of Lands provides more information about the proposed sale.
Per MCC 3-27-020(P)5, the Impact P&Z has scheduled a public hearing for May 9th. Public notice has been provided for the
P&Z hearing. The P&Z’s recommendations (if any) will be provided at the Council meeting. The Code allows the Council to provide a “statement of concerns and recommendations” to the Dept.
of Lands and requires the Dept. to respond in writing.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the Impact P&Z’s recommendations and forward them to the Department of Lands.
