SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Robert Strope will request Council’s approval to have
the authority to issue a notice to lift the voluntary suspension of new sewage connections within the City of McCall. The suspension has been in effect since October 1, 1999.
Council
has already issued a notice to proceed for J Ditch Phase II. The City must not be dumping sewage into the North Fork Payette River before the Moratorium can be lifted. It is anticipated
that the City will be able to start land applications in the near future.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Authorize Mr. Strope to lift the moratorium once land applications have begun.
