AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE
PARTNERSHIP FOR A DRUG FREE WAYNE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne County has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the Widowed Persons Service desires to submit a grant application for the prescription drug and gambling addiction prevention program; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The Widowed Persons Service is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne County for the prescription drug and gambling addiction prevention
program.
The Widowed Persons Service is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to One Thousand One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($1,125.00)
Said funds, if awarded to the Widowed Persons Service, shall be appropriated for the prescription drug and gambling addiction prevention program.
Passed and adopted this 15th day of October, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
