SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached
are the Commission’s Findings & Conclusions and all application materials and information received about CUP–00–3.
Dr. Shane Newton has applied for a conditional use permit to operate
a medical clinic at 143 E. Lake Street, the current Yellow Garage neighborhood convenience store. A dental clinic is proposed, for the first floor only. No additional parking is required
by City Code, and none is proposed. No additional public hearing was recommended. No appeal of the Commission’s recommendation has been filed.
The Commission recommends approval, subject
to three conditions:
All existing parking and landscaping areas are to be maintained.
The exterior of the building is to remain residential in appearance.
The use is limited to a dental
clinic or dental office only.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the Commission’s Findings & Conclusions as the Council’s own and approve CUP–00–3.
