SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In the past, the City Clerk has at times spent a great deal of time on public records requests. Idaho Code §9-338 authorizes public agencies or public
officials to establish fee schedules. The ordinance attached will be amended by the City Attorney before Thursday, January 11, 2001 to authorize the City to set fees by resolution.
Resolution
01-1 is the fee schedule that outlines the charges for public records. Each copy will be $.10 per page, Labor and administrative costs will be $25.00 per hour, and computer tapes, discs,
microfilm or other similar analogous record system containing public information will be the actual cost of copying.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Suspend the rules, read by title only,
one time only Ordinance No. 752.
Adopt Ordinance No. 752 and authorize the Mayor to sign.
Adopt Resolution 01-1 and authorize the Mayor to sign.
