A RESOLUTION OF THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL REQUESTING THE NEVADA
COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ALLOCATE LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
FUNDS (LTF) FOR OPERATION OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE TAHOE TRUCKEE AREA
REGIONAL TRANSIT (TART) FIXED ROUTE AND PARATRANSIT SYSTEM FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2016/2017
WHEREAS, Transportation Development Act Funds are allocated to the Nevada County
Transportation Commission for the Town of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee has designed a transit system that will most effectively
serve the residents of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, these projects meet the requirements of the Regional Transportation Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL
requests the following:
1. NCTC allocate $455,411 of Local Transportation Funds to the TART fixed route and
paratransit FY 2016/2017 operations budget as follows: $432,640 per PUC
99400(c)(d)(e); $22,771 per PUC 99275(a).
2. NCTC distribute the funds as they become available.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Council Member Wallace Dee, seconded by
Vice Mayor Goodwin, at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town Council, held on the 10 n
day of May 2016, and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Council Member Wallace Dee, Vice Mayor Goodwin, Council Member
Flora, Council Member Barr, and Mayor deRyk Jones.
NOES: none.
ABSENT: none.
