SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On
December 12, 2000 the Impact Area Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing to consider a conditional use permit application submitted by Jo Beecham, representing the Girl Scouts
of Silver Sage Council. Ms. Beecham sought permission to allow the construction of an additional cabin at Camp Pittenger.
The Impact P&Z found that the proposal meets the requirements
of MCC 3-31-030(A) and 3-31-031(A) and recommends that the City Council approve the application. The P&Z recommended that no second hearing be held. No appeal of the P&Z’s recommendation
has been filed.
The Impact P&Z’s Findings & Conclusions and the complete record of the case are attached. Also attached are draft Findings & Conclusions for the City Council, adopting
the P&Z’s Findings & Conclusions and approving the application.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the P&Z’s Findings & Conclusions as the Council’s own and approve conditional use permit
application CUP–00–4.
