SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing on August 7 to consider a conditional use permit application
submitted by Janie Stewart, representing Bill Petzak, the owner of 320 Thula Street. Ms. Stewart sought permission to create a day care in the existing home.
The P&Z found that the
proposal satisfies the requirements of MCC 3-31-030(A) and recommends that the Council approve the application subject to several conditions. The P&Z recommends that no second hearing
be held. The P&Z’s recommendation can be appealed before August 20. As of August 16, no appeal has been filed.
The P&Z’s Findings & Conclusions and the complete record of the case are
attached. Also attached are draft Findings & Conclusions for the City Council, incorporating the P&Z’s Findings & Conclusions and approving the application.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt
the draft Findings & Conclusions and approve application CUP–01–4.
