SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Idaho Department of Lands has grants of up to $1500 available for tree/shrub planting and community beautification.
There is a small picnic area on city property which is behind Pump House Books. This area would be greatly enhanced by trees and shrubs. Mary Allen and the Board of the Central Idaho
Cultural Center as well as the Tree Committee support this project. Funds would be used for plant materials and associated irrigation needs. Labor would be in-kind and done by the
Parks Department staff.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the grant application and authorize the Mayor to sign.
