SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City, through our
Engineer, has reached an agreement for the purchase of 1/2 of a lot as part of the abandonment of Lift Station #9. The Council was briefed on the progress of this action in executive
session as it relates to the purchase of real property. At this time the staff requests Council take formal action in open session to authorize purchase of the property described on
the attached agreement. This purchase is a key component in the successful abandonment of the lift station.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the purchase of real property and authorize
the Mayor to sign the purchase agreement.
