SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Lois Lenski Grant is available to fund collection development in Juvenile and Young Adult
Literature. The Library Director has done an evaluation
of these collections, and the average age of the Young Adult collection is 1973, and that of the juvenile is 1975. It is hoped to use these funds to upgrade and improve the holdings
we have for young readers.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommend the Council approve grant application, and authorize the mayor to sign.
