SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Ezra Jack Keats Grants are available to provide programs for pre-school aged children. We will team with a local preschool to
present library and craft classes once a month, for about 22 children in 2 classes. The funds will be used to purchase craft materials and reading materials for these presentations,
working off a monthly theme, and involving social and motor skills development.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommend the Council approve grant application and authorize the mayor to
sign.
