SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In October the City
contacted 25 individuals and firms to determine their interest in providing grant services to the City. Eight of them expressed an interest and were sent a formal Request for Proposal.
Subsequently, three responses were received. Complete copies of each proposal are available from review in the Community Development office, but have not been included in the Council
packet.
Following is a summary of key points of each proposal, with a summary of the current structure for comparison. Also following is information presented at the September 28 Council
meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Reject the three proposals as not conforming to the intent of Council.
Direct staff to continue to monitor and evaluate current staffing structure to
ensure that the Council’s intent is met and the benefit to staff and the community is maximized.
