SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The
Library Board advertised to fill their vacancy. At their last meeting, the Board reviewed the four candidates who expressed interest in the voluntary position open on the Library Board.
Their decision was to recommend to the City Council, Connie Johnson whose qualifications include many years as a kindergarten teacher and a great interest and expertise in early childhood
education.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommend that the Council accept, the Library Board’s recommendation and appoint Connie Johnson to a 5-year term on the board, from October 2001
to September 2006
