SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Payette Scenic Byway Advisory Council, Sage Community Resources, and the Idaho Department of Transportation developed an agreement to assist
in the implementation, maintenance and operations of the PSRB management plan. The mission of the Plan is to “enhance the cultural, archeological, historical, recreation, scenic, and
natural experiences of residents and travelers as they live and travel along the Payette River Scenic Byway.” Cities, counties and other governmental entities are parties in the Memorandum
of Agreement, including the City of McCall. Because of the need to present this signed memorandum of agreement to the Idaho Transportation Department’s Board in a timely manner, the
City Manager was asked to sign and submit the MOA to the ITD’s Scenic Byway Coordinator by September 18th. This MOA has the support of the Payette River Scenic Byway Advisory Council,
which has local representation.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Validate the City Manager’s signature endorsing the City of McCall participation in the Memorandum of Agreement for the Payette
Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan.
