SUMMARY
STATEMENT: Attached is an addendum to the contract with JUB to allow JUB to complete the work needed to complete the NPDES Permit ($5,000) and permit application for the 1-1 Land Application
Permit ($60,000). These are needed to maximize the City’s options in relation to discharge of effluent from the J-Ditch pond. We have requested the support of the users of the J-Ditch
and have received support from all who responded. The City Manager contacted DEQ to validate the cost estimates and found the hours listed to be within an acceptable range. Note that
the addendum is for “additional service requiring owner’s authorization in advance.”
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the addendum and authorize the City Mayor to sign the addendum and
authorize the City Manager to approve expenditures under the addendum.
