SUMMARY STATEMENT: The anchoring system for the City docks near the Sports Marina needs replacing;
in addition, the City Recreation Director recommends the addition of new walkways with handrails to improve safety. City staff submitted a request to the Valley County Waterways Board
on 10/02/01 to appropriate $5595. for the repair work and ramp improvements. The Waterways Board agreed to appropriate the needed funds for the work.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Council
accept the funds from Valley County, and authorize the City Manager to sign any documents related to the funding.
