SUMMARY STATEMENT:
A grant application was submitted to the Whittenberger Foundation (Caldwell, Idaho) on September 1, 2001.
The purpose of the grant is to establish an automated checkout and cataloging system for the McCall Public Library. The Library’s FY2002 budget has some funding for developing an automated
system; the grant will allow for the purchase of the hardware and software, as well as bar code readers and supplies.
Anne Kantola has been asked to appear representing the City of
McCall Library at an awards ceremony on December 7, 2001 at Albertson’s College. Anne will be presented with the grant award at that time.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Agree to accept the
grant award, and authorize the Mayor to sign related documents.
