SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At
the City Council meeting January 11, 2001, Council discussed the lack of specific guidance in McCall City Code 1-9-4 regarding appoint or removal of committee members. Other sections
of the Code direct that such actions be done in accordance with 1-9-4. During the discussion the City Manager asked permission to also revise the “committee of the whole” language relating
to actions for department heads. Attached is a rough draft of 1-9-4 for discussion purposes. Staff is requesting guidance from Council on the draft before moving forward.
RECOMMENDED
ACTION: Council provide specific guidance to Staff on the proposed revision and direct staff to proceed with actions required to adopt a change in City Code.
