CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the October 4, 2021 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:46
P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Hensley, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber, Spencer, Spicer*, Vogt,
Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
*Attended via video webex.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Schreiber will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Director of Cole County’s Health Department, Kristi Campbell will attend virtually
to provide a pandemic update.
- There are two proclamations being presented tonight.
Presentations from Staff, Consultants & Invited Guests
- Fire Chief Matt Schofield will give a brief Fire Prevention Week presentation.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their respective introduced bills.
- Councilmember Fitzwater will request to suspend the rules on bill 2021-057 for
third reading and final passing.
Bills Pending
- City Staff presented their respective pending bills.
Resolutions
- City Staff presented their respective resolutions.
- Gail Strope, Human Resources Director, noted that the RS2021-14 company
name on the agenda is incorrect, but the packet materials are correct, listing Sun
Life, rather than Berkley Accident and Health.
