A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
REFERRING THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE
TRUCKEE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE PLANNING
COMMISSION FOR REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION
WHEREAS; Sections 33346, 33356 and 33453 of the Community Redevelopment Law
(Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) provide that, prior to a joint public hearing of
the legislative body and redevelopment agency on a proposed amendment to a redevelopment
plan, the redevelopment agency shall submit the proposed changes to the planning
commission; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Truckee (the "Agency") has
prepared and completed a proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the Truckee
Redevelopment Project (the "Project"), to add a provision regarding limitation on the amount of
allowed bonded indebtedness.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan ,for the Truckee
Redevelopment Project, in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A ("Amendment"), is hereby
referred to the Planning Commission of the Town of Truckee for its report and recommendation.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Board Member Green, seconded by
Board Member Brown, at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Redevelopment Agency
Board, held on the 2nd day of December 2010 and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Board Member Green, Board Member Brown, Board Member Wallace
Dee, Vice Chair deRyk Jones, and Chair Anderson.
NOES:

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution 2010-06 referring the proposed amendment to the-
Redevelopment
heRedevelopment Plan for the Truckee Redevelopment Project to the Town of Truckee Planning
Commission for report and recommendation.
DISCUSSION: As the Board will recall there is a need to amend the current redevelopment plan to
place a ceiling on bonded indebtedness. The next step in the process is a referral to the Planning
Commission for comment on the amendment. The Planning Commission hasithirty (30) days to
respond.
As a matter of information,all of the other taxing agencies have been contacted in writing regarding
the amendment and no objections have been received. A negative declaration of environmental
impact has been•prepared and is in circulation for comment. An updated schedule of actions has
been prepared, which is attached, and is in process.
If there are any questions please let me know.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS: Notice to Taxing Agencies and referral to the Planning Commission
meeting on December 8, 2010.

EXHIBIT A
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
FOR THE TRUCKEE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Paragraph 8 is added to Section 602 of the Redevelopment Plan as follows:
"8. The amount of bonded indebtedness to be repaid in whole or in part from
the allocation of taxes described in paragraph 2 above, which can be
outstanding at any one time shall not exceed SEVENTY-FIVE MILLION
DOLLARS ($75,000,000)."
