HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 91-30361 1 1 RESOLUTION 91 -3036 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 50066, A REQUEST BY STARTS INTERNATIONAL, TO ALLOW THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SEVENTEEN (17) UNIT DETACHED CONDOMINIUM PROJECT IN THE LIGHT MULTIPLE (R -2) ZONE AT 4922 -5014 GLICKMAN. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Based upon testimony received at a noticed public hearing and upon facts contained in the staff report and testimony received at a noticed public hearing before the Plan- ning Commission and findings enumerated in the Planning Co!nmis- sion Resolution, the City Council approves the request subject to all of the Conditions of Approval contained in Planning Com- mission Resolution No. 91- 1587PC, except as modified herein. SECTION 2'. Tentative Tract Map No. 50066 is approved subject to all of the conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 91- 1587PC with the following modifications: 1. The proposed development shall be in substantial compli- ance with the revised development plans date - stamped March 15, 1991. 2. Condition 65 shall read as follows: "All guest parking, except the six detached dwellings which take direct access from Glickman Avenue, shall be independently accessible. 3. In lieu of upgrading the existing public fire hydrant situated on the west side of Glickman Avenue and in lieu of installing automatic fire sprinklers in each of the proposed dwelling units, a new fire hydrant may be in- stalled on the east side of Glickman Avenue to serve the subject project, provided that said new fire hydrant meets the minimum required fire flow standards as established by L.A. County Fire Department. SECTION 3. This project should result in no significant effects upon the environment and a Negative Declaration has been prepared in accordance with the State CEQA Guidelines. The ini- tial statement as prepared indicates there is not potential for adverse impact to the environmental as it relates to all wild animals, birds, plants, fish, amphibians and related ecological communities, including the habitate upon which the wildlife depends for its continued viability. Resolution 91 -3036 Page 2 SECTION 4. Accordingly, Tentative Tract Map 50066 is hereby approved. Additionally, approval of Conditional Use Permit 90 -1064 and denial of Zone Variance 90 -1065, as referenced in City Council Resolution 91 -3033, is hereby confirmed. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of March, 1991.
