SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing on March 6 to consider a conditional use permit application
submitted by JT More and Bill McMurray, representing Randy & Sally Spiwak. Mr. and Mrs. Spiwak sought permission to create a ‘guest house’ at 1050 Cedar Lane. The guest house would be
within the footprint of the main structure.
The P&Z found that the proposal satisfies the requirements of MCC 3-31-030(A) and recommends that the Council approve the application with
the following conditions:
Separate water and sewer connections are required for the guest house.
The guest house cannot be rented or leased separately from the main house.
The P&Z recommends
that no second hearing be held. No appeal of the P&Z’s recommendation has been filed.
The P&Z’s Findings & Conclusions and the complete record of the case are attached. Also attached
are draft Findings & Conclusions for the City Council, incorporating the P&Z’s Findings & Conclusions and approving the application.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the draft Findings &
Conclusions and approve application CUP–01–1.
