CALL TO ORDER
The May 14, 2010, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:00 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll (arrived at 12:05 p.m.), Ferguson, Griffith, Koon, Medin,
Penfold, Pope, Scrivner (arrived at 12:19 p.m.) and Struemph
Absent: Harvey
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Jim Penfold stated he would like to receive information about how traffic is
directed around the new overpass on Hwy. 179. City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus explained
that the Council will look at a concept plan.
*Councilwoman Carrie Carroll arrived at this point in the meeting (12:05 p.m.)
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen announced that the Council had requested that a
special work session be held to discuss transit issues, and indicated that has been
scheduled for Monday, May 24 at 5:30 P.M.
Bill 2010 -20 (clean air petition) - Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated she plans to amend
the bill to show that it is to be placed on the November 2010 ballot.
* *Councilman Bob Scrivner arrived at this point in the meeting (12:19 p.m.)
Bill 2010 -16 (Historic Preservation Commission code amendment) - Councilwoman
Carrie Carroll stated she plans to place this on the Informal Calendar to allow further
discussion.
