Home My Public Portal About20140818 - Select Board - Meeting Minutes 1 Hopkinton Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes August 18, 2014 TOWN OF HOPKINTON Board of Selectmen August 18, 2014 A meeting of the Hopkinton Board of Selectmen was held on Monday, August18, 2014 at Town Hall, 18 Main Street, Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Selectmen present: John Mosher, Ben Palleiko, Michelle Gates, John Coutinho. Selectmen not present: Todd Cestari. Officials present: Town Manager Norman Khumalo, Operations Assistant Jamie Hellen, Town Counsel Ray Miyares (by remote participation). CALL TO ORDER: Vice-Chairman Mosher called the meeting to order in Room 215 at 12:07 PM. Note: No executive session was held prior to this meeting. LEGACY FARMS AMENDMENT: Chairman Mosher opened up a discussion with the Board regarding the host community agreement with Legacy Farms. Each Board member asked questions about the amended draft agreement to the Town Manager, Town Counsel and Roy MacDowell of Legacy Farms. MOTION by Mr. Coutinho to approve the Fifth Amendment to the Host Community Agreement (HCA) with Legacy Farms SECONDED by Mrs. Gates. VOTE to Approve: Yes-4, No-0, Abstained-0. MOTION by Ms. Gates to allow the Vice-Chair to execute the Host Community Agreement (HCA) with Legacy Farms due to the absence of the Chair. SECONDED by Mr. Coutinho. VOTE to Approve: Yes-3, No-0, Abstained-1 (Mosher). MOTION TO ADJOURN by Mrs. Gates SECONDED by Mr. Palleiko. VOTE to Approve: Yes-4, No-0, Abstained-0. The Board adjourned at 12:39 PM.
