SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Lex Bernstein
and David Eaton would like permission to use the city dock to the right side of Legacy Park for a hole in one contest to benefit the McCall-Donnelly School Girls Athletic Program.
The
hole in one contest will be conducted while the dock is open to the public. The public is welcome and encouraged to be on the dock, during the contest.
In the past years, there has never
been a problem, no incidents.
They raised $4,000 last year for the ice rink.
They will have personal watercraft standing by to advise boaters.
They will have people in the water to advise
bystanders.
They used the adjacent city dock last year.
The frequency is not a dominating affair, it is an occasional person comes up and enters the contest, they use a driving range
mat and floating golf balls.
Times requested are: 4pm to 9pm June 30th to July 3rd and 11am to 3pm on July 4th.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the use of the city dock for the hole
in one contest.
