CALL TO ORDER
The June 7, 2010, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:50 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present at the time the meeting convened:
Present: Carroll (arrived at 5:53 P.M.), Ferguson, Griffith, Harvey, Koon, Medin,
Penfold, Pope, Scrivner, and Struemph
Absent: None
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
2010 -22 (digital [animated] signs) - Councilman Eric Struemph stated he would like to
make a motion to refer this back to the Public Works & Planning Committee for further work.
Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated she would withdraw the bill tonight so that it could be
referred to a Council committee.
RS2010 -8 (Conference Center Committee) - Mayor John Landwehr stated he planned to
also recommend the individual appointments to this Committee tonight that were being
re- instituted by RS2010 -8.
New Business - Councilman Jim Penfold stated he would ask Assistant Community
Development Director Charles Lansford to make a brief presentation tonight regarding what
the City is doing to abate mosquitoes in the City following the recent heavy rains.
