CALL TO ORDER
The June 18, 2010, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:03 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll, Griffith, Koon, Medin, Penfold, Scrivner, and *Struemph
(arrived at 12:04 P.M.)
Absent: Harvey and Pope
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
2010 -31 (Vacating Portion of Marshall Street & Unnamed alley) - City Counselor Nathan
Nickolaus stated this will need to be placed on the Informal Calendar at the July 6 meeting
when it comes up for a vote.
*Councilman Eric Struemph arrived during discussion of 2010 -31 (12:04
P.M.)
Bill 2010 -16 (Historic Preservation Commission code amendment) - This will likely
remain on the Informal Calendar unless some issues are resolved before Monday night.
RS2010 -15 (Excess Workmans' Compensation Insurance) - City Counselor Nathan
Nickolaus stated that the agenda will need to be amended on Monday night to add this
Resolution which was not included in the published version of the agenda, and which is just
being distributed to the Council at today's Brown Bag.
Vacant City Council Seat - Mayor John Landwehr asked City Clerk Phyllis Powell and
Communications Manager Michelle Gleba to prepare an informational release regarding
qualifications and procedure to filling Councilman Ferguson's vacant First Ward Council
seat.
