RESOLUTION 2020-38
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR THE
CALIFORNIA 2020 LOCAL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FORMULAIC FUNDING
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 1 (Beall, Chapter 5, Statues of 2017), enacted the Road Repair
and Accountability Act of 2017, creating the Local Partnership Program; and
WHEREAS, the California Transportation Commission has established the formulaic
share of funding available to the Town of Truckee in 2020-2021; and
WHEREAS, the Annual Paving and Drainage Project is an eligible use of the Local
Partnership Program funding for which the Town Council would like to apply.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE:
1. Authorize the filing of an application for the 2020 California Local Partnership Formulaic
Program.
2. Authorize required match in the estimated amount of $200,000.
3. Authorize the Town Manager, or designee, to execute all applications, negotiations and
agreements that may be required.
4. Authorize the Town Engineer, or designee, to execute and submit all necessary reports
and payment request(s) for the project.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Vice Mayor Klovstad, seconded by
Council Member Tirman, at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town Council, held on the
26th day of May, 2020, and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Vice Mayor Klovstad, Council Member Tirman, Council Member
Commendatore, Council Member Abrams, and Mayor Polivy.
NOES: none.
ABSENT: none. /
