CALL TO ORDER
The June 21, 2010, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:50 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present at the time the meeting convened:
Present: *Carroll (arrived at 5:54 P.M.), Harvey, Koon, Penfold, Scrivner, and
Struemph
Absent: Griffith and Medin
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Mayor John Landwehr asked City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus to give his report on
procedures to fill a vacancy on the City Council under Presentations from Staff rather than
under Scheduled Reports so it can be discussed earlier in the meeting.
2010 -16 (Amending Code re: Historic Preservation Commission) - City Counselor
Nathan Nickolaus distributed a substitute bill.
*Councilwoman Carrie Carroll arrived at this point in the meeting (5:54 P.M.)
Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated that she does intend to bring 2010 -16 off the Informal
Calendar to be voted on tonight in the substituted version, with a possible amendment to
that substitute.
2010 -31 (Vacation of Marshall Street & unnamed alley) - Councilman Jim Penfold stated
he will place this on the Informal Calendar tonight.
