SUMMARY STATEMENT:
DEQ has required the city to purchase and install a second pump at the J-Ditch Primary Pump Station. Sealed bids were opened on October 24, 2002,
at J-U-B Engineers office in Boise. The low bid includes a 450HP motor, vertical turbine pump and the control panel installed. Engineers estimate was $177,000. Bids were as follows:

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Council to award low bid to Challenger Electric, of
Boise, and authorize Mayor to sign contract.
