SUMMARY STATEMENT: Staff provided Council the attached packet of information on December 10th outlining the proposal to conduct a comprehensive salary
and position survey. This project is listed on the Council agreed upon list of projects for the City Manager and also has the support of the Department Heads. We will re-invest the
PERSI gain sharing dollars into our staff by completing this study. The keys to success are a team approach using the members of the Staff to assist in the project as well as the support
of the City Council in implementing the recommendations when presented. There will be a number of opportunities for Council to participate in the process, we will arrange a workshop
for Council once we receive Council approval and set a start date for the study.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the IEC Proposal and authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement.
