SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Implementation of the BDPA Salary Survey has resulted in salary savings in the General Fund and the Streets/Public Works Fund and additional
salary costs in the amount of $9,481 in the Library Fund, $4,838 in the Recreation Fund, and $2,589 in the Airport Fund. To avoid placing a hardship on the Library, Recreation, and
Airport Funds with additional costs, staff is requesting approval for an operating transfer from the General and Streets/Public Works Funds in the amounts previously listed. Contingent
Revenues and Contingent Expenses in Library, Recreation, and Airport Funds will be appropriately adjusted based on the operating transfer amounts.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve line
item transfers from contingent revenue to operating transfer revenue and from contingent expense to salary & wage expense line items for the Library, Recreation, and Airport Funds.
