It is working very well up in Tahoe Donner and we feel its unfair to now have to deal with another layer of bureaucracy.We are registered with your City right now so why re-register and pay yearly fees just so you can create more jobs and increase your tax revenue ?Suddenly, us second homeowners have no free will. STR's were banned in March,locals on social media trash and hate on second home owners and now despite paying enormous sums to you in taxes and fees your town wants to monitor and restrict us further?It's the second home owners who worked hard to fulfill their dreams and enjoy their homes. Most house tourist to supplement their mortgage and high cost of living in TD. It's the tourist who spend money in your region.Why push back on us with another layer of enforcement?Tahoe Donner is fine,Secondly,your fees schedule is super high with fines beginning at$500.00 to$ 1,000 a day? I am an Administrative Hearing Officer for a large California City and that amount is extreme.Also, I take issue that a fair Warning Notice will not be given out prior to a citation.STIR owners usually don't live in your town and a 24 to 72 hour notice would be appreciated to clear violations. I am also opposed to Fire Dept Inspections every three years and the requirement we have a carbon monoxide sensor next to every bedroom.The State requires one per home.We have two.The City of Truckee has been unfriendly towards us STIR owners since the China plague struck and seems to want us out as we over crowd your City. Despite contributing to your tax base handsomely and supporting your local businesses we feel under attack.This is unfair as everyone is suffering.At this point we view your new regulations as a way to reduce STIR homes and eliminate over crowding.We are no longer feeling the TRUCKEE LOVE.Thank you. lf your comment exceeds 2000 characters, please use the attachment function below to attach your comment in a separate document.
