I've seen first hand the horrible effects on the Tahoe/Truckee area due to no structure or planning in regards to short term rentals
during this pandemic. The situation is completely out of control and the local community and businesses are suffering because of it.
Please please please think about the long term affects of what's happening and CARE about this area and all of it's beauty and
offerings and not just about all the extra money you'll make off of taxing the tourists. Think outside the box. Something has to
change and it has to change now.
