Short term rentals are decimating our towns. There NEEDS to be more regulations. Most importantly a limit on the number of STRs in the towns and per neighborhood. Consistently STRs are being turned over every few days without enough time between renters for a thourough clean. STRs are being overloaded with too many people,which in turn is overrunning our towns,and we are consistently seeing our area at over capacity. STRs are attracting visitors who dont have any respect for our home and who are consistently leaving trash everywhere they go. Short Term Rentals, I believe,are the largest contributors to these problem.
