First,this ordinance is stricter than the rules already rolled out by Tahoe Donner.The occupancy-(2 per bedroom plus 2 people) is lower than the Tahoe Donner rule. This would reduce the occupancy for my rental and make it far more difficult to rent. I have a home with 3 bedrooms plus a large bonus room, but my bonus room doesn't count in determining occupancy. I have beds for 12, but could only rent to groups of 8. In addition, requiring a person to be at the property within an hour if there are issues seems unnecessary. Most issues can be dealt with by phone. If this ordinance passes, I will be selling my property.
