Thank you town of Truckee for addressing the STIR concerns of residents of Truckee.As I write this, I'm sitting on my deck enjoying
the beauty only Tahoe has to offer, peacefully,oh wait, no,there's an STIR down the street that already has begun to begin their 3
day, Labor Day holiday partying.Yelling,whooping, loud and noxious.Well,there goes my excitement to enjoy my 3 day weekend.
How is this ok? How does a residential neighborhood turn into commercial property that behaves as a hotel?I thought I bought into
a neighborhood. Don't we have hotels and motels in town for visitors?OK, I hope you get my point.As others have mentioned,our
neighborhood and homes have turned into "anything goes cause we're on vacation" mentality and it's not ok. Can we please take
back our neighborhoods. I propose a minimum occupancy on any home not to exceed 10 people. When a home advertises as"sleeps
16",you get 25,sleeps 12,you get 18,cars lined up down the street,trash mishandled when they leave. How did people get so
disrespectful?Please, please, help us to get this under control and bring back the peaceful and respectful beauty of our
neighborhoods. Enforcement will be absolutely vital to this.Thank you for reading.
