The neighborhoods that were originally zoned by nevada and placer counties before truckee was incorporated as a town as single
family residences as sierra meadows and prosser lakeview estates and are still on septic sewer systems are not designed to handle
such high volume use of these transient rentals with upwards of 8-10,people per day per 3 to 4 bedroom homes. That alone should
be serious enough to limit such transient rentals in these single family zoned neighborhoods.Then the town of truckee has to spend
more time and money trying to figure out a solution for long term affordable housing for local workforce employees and such all
because the town wants a greater revenue stream from transient occupancy tax. Not very logical nor intelligent imo. But hey its all
about money no doubt. Who cares if long term serious effects as such are caused by so called town leaders bad decisions. Typical
just so typical.
