We are one of the few major resort towns to still have no rules or regulations in place for STR's. Many STIR investors do not live up here at all, nor have any vested interest in the town, besides running a mini hotel to maximize their real estate investment.The big agencies like VRBO have billions at stake and have absolutely no regard for the communities around the world which they are impacting. I am a full time resident whose house is a home and not a business. I support the town regulating and reining in Short Term Rentals.
