Many of us are on septic. Many of us are responsible for our own garbage and have it stored in garages until garbage day. Many of us have to fight for TOT payment from guests who feel its an overcharge.The first two points are simple disagreement. The last,could be remedied if the Town of Truckee worked more closely with companies like VRBO and Airbnb to add a line item to the check out that adds this tax automatically.
