It is a nightmare: * Capacity of house,located in the Armstrong Tract,this house has 4 small bedrooms and is approx 1,500 square feet, HOWEVER,it is advertised to sleep 14 people- REALLY??Also need to mention the global pandemic,COVID!!There is NO social distancing or masks being worn.4th of July, 14+young people partying ALL weekend- NO MASKS* Parking,another major issue, i.e. 14 people all drive their own cars,they park all over our steep&narrow street, Thomas Dr.CLUELESS about winter parking rules and snow removal operations.ToT PD RARELY(or just never) hands out parking tickets. * Noise,including late night(after 10pm)AND ignored DOGS left on outside deck to bark incessantly. Seems like the only people that hear the dog are all the neighbors !! * FIRE IGNORANT GUESTS,2 times in August guests brought in their own CHARCOAL BBQ's, lighter fluid,&sparks flying off deck,that was super scary and we called the Truckee Fire Dept. also,cigarette butts all over driveway and yard *Trash, BIG problem, homeowner too cheap to pay for 2 can rate or get"special" pickups on Mondays.The house flips every 2-3 nights so his bear box is too small to handle the huge amounts of trash that these visitors bring, not to mention how much trash 14 people can produce in 2-3 days.Trash has been left out of the bear box on numerous occasions and has been ripped into by wildlife. *Ongoing and constant"policing"of the neighbor's STIR house so our home remains a QUIET and FIRE SAFE environment,without TRASH and wildlife problems. My husband and I have lived in the area full-time since 1981,that's 39 years.
