I've been a full time Tahoe Donner resident for over 10 years. We live in a town that's economy is largely based on tourism. So no
full time resident that cares about the welfare of their fellow Truckee residents that need to make a living should subscribe to the
"Go Back to the Bay" attitude of some.That said,reasonable limits on STRs would help to reign in some of the worst behavior of
renters who don't have any vested interest in the long term livability and character of our community.Therefore, I am writing to you
in support of the Town of Truckee's proposed STIR restrictions. They are reasonable, not overly restrictive and they would be
effective in reducing the least desirable effects of STRs.
