Name Barbara Roberts Email barbr7@gmail.com Phone (optional) Public Comment I feel strongly that the proposed ordinance with its rules about noise,traffic,garbage,light pollution,etc. and fines should apply to ALL homeowners at Tahoe Donner.Just looking at the complaints/violations figures in the September issue,it is clear that nonSTR's are equally the offenders and should be subjected to the same enforcement and fines.To single out STR's As perpetrators is neither fair nor accurate and reflects a bias that is divisive.All of the problems I've encountered (which were promptly taken care of)were created by non STR homeowners and/or their guests.To think that family members and guests of nonSTR owners are perfectly behaved is naive and erroneous.Also, if the owner who sometimes rents his home uses a property management company, it is the property managers who are responsible for monitoring guests and responding to complaints as the agent of the owner.They should receive the fine, not the owner who has entrusted,and paid for in good faith,the care of his home.
