In general I support the ordinance. However,the regulation states STRs include guesthouses, studios, and secondary dwelling units,
but in the following paragraph states that permits will not be issued for accessory dwelling units. Can you clarify this? If you are
excluding secondary units from use as STRs,this seems discriminatory. Why should a second home owner be allowed to use their
house as a STIR income property, but a local homeowner with a garage studio cannot?The rules should be equitable across the
board. What about a 60 day per year limit on STIR rental, regardless of property type?This would eliminate full time STIR properties
that seem to be creating the most problems,and possibly open up long term rentals of all types.
