It his biased to just pick the STR's and blame everything open them. What about the people that bought up there by trading one rental for a rental in tahoe donner.They used a 1031 exchange for their purchase and are required to rent out their home based upon their contract. Being biased on STR.s is a slippery slope. Many STR's are respectful and well run The owners are responsible and follow the rules or they would to be able to attract renters if they let their place run down, I expect most are more maintained than most locals. I think There is a rush to judgement with out facts There are STR's that are a problem i am sure but there are locals that are a problem too bit no one wants to turn in their neighbor so they let it go. I see issues with locals and I hear about issues but you do not hear about it.
