Registration: Registration fees should not exceed$200 annually and should be prorated for new short term rentals. Permits and
associated fees should be transferable with the sale of the property.Occupancy Limit:This is too restrictive. Many homeowners
have bunk rooms and/or lofts. At a minimum, two per bedroom plus four should be allowed. The age limit for children should be 7
and under to be consistent with the policies of other neighboring communities and HOAs. Parking:This can be restrictive to owners
with small driveways and no garages. Street parking should be allowed in non-winter months. Noise:Agreed. However,we often
experience neighbors reporting excessive noise on the wrong house or reporting excessive noise before quiet hours even
commence. What will the process for regulation be? How will wrongly or unjustly accused offenders be able to defend against
accusations? What sort of proof will be required?Garbage:Agreed. Fire Safety:Agreed. Minimum Stay: Mostly agreed. However,
will there be exceptions for having to move a guest for one night or place a tenant during maintenance?Special Events: No
Comment. Local Contact Person:Agreed. Interior posting:Agreed. Registration Process:Agreed.Compliance:These fees are
excessive. Who is responsible for paying the fees? If it's the homeowner, how can subsequent violations be a higher penalty when a
new guest is the offender?Citing a fee per day is excessive depending on the violation. Can penalties be disputed?Restricting rentals
for 12-months is overly punitive and could potentially affect a homeowner's ability to keep their house. Not all violations are equal
in severity.
