Motion from Van Deest, seconded by Huisman to appropiate the following funds:- General-$5000. Street-$9400 Public safety- $7000. Sanitation-$7000, Mi.inicipal enterprises$4000. Recreation-J2000. Utilities-$i6.000/ Debt service-$3000. Road Use Tax-$8000. Liquor profits-1000. Motion from Claassen, seconded by Freese to set Marshall's salaries at not to exceed $400.00 per month. Motion from Huisman, seconded by Claassen that the reg,zlar meeting of -the Town Co,-incil be held the first Monday of the month at 7:30 P.M. Motion from Claassen, seconded by Huisman-to ratify resollztion approving contract on railroad crossing signal. Motion to file the Treasurer's report from Eckhoff, seconded. by Van Deest. A delegation from the Fire Dept. met with the Council to discuss the need for more equipment. Motion from Claassen, seconded by Van Deest that the Fire Dept. be authorized to buy the smoke fighting equipment. Motion carried.
