As permitted by Executive Order N-29-20, proclaiming a State of Emergency in the State of
California, the November 19, 2020 Town of Truckee General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC)
meeting room will not be accessible to the public and the meeting will be conducted virtually.
The meeting is accessible to the public via Zoom at http://bit.ly/totGPAC.
1. CALL TO ORDER AND ATTENDANCE – To be noted by staff.
2. PUBLIC COMMENT – This portion of the meeting is an opportunity for members of the public to
address the GPAC on items which are not on this agenda. Public comment for unagendized items
will be accepted via email at PlanningDepartment@townoftruckee.com and text or voice
message at (530) 428-6555 until the Chair closes public comment. Under State law, the GPAC
cannot take action on an item not on the agenda. The GPAC may choose to acknowledge the
comment or, where appropriate, briefly answer a question, refer the matter to staff, or set the item
for discussion at a future meeting.
Public comment on items agendized below will be accepted via Zoom (see agendized items
below).

4. CONTINUED DISCUSSION ON LAND USE ALTERNATIVES (4:00 pm)
• Land Use Alternatives Timeline Review (Nora/Denyelle)
o November meeting: Development of town-wide alternatives; Discuss evaluation
criteria and follow up from October meeting
o December meeting: GPAC 2020 Reflection and 2021 Look Ahead
o January meeting: Presentation of town-wide alternatives and GPAC confirmation
to study selected town -wide alternatives
o February/March meeting: Community workshop on potential town -wide alternatives
o March/April: Selection of GPAC-preferred alternative
• Criteria for Land Use Alternative Evaluation (Nora)
o Review of General Plan Goals and present possible criteria (Denyelle)
o Discussion of criteria (All)

5. DECEMBER MEETING PREPARATION (5:45 pm)
• December 17, 2020 – Optional Meeting (Jenna)
o No key decisions or critical content to review (recognizing holiday schedules)
o Opportunity to share concerns and questions; identify links to Land Use Alternatives
process and opportunities to address issues in 2021
6. ADJOURNMENT. To the next meeting of the GPAC (December 17, 2020) (6:00 pm)
