SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Public Library is partnering with other rural libraries in southwestern Idaho to
develop a planning consortium to implement resource sharing and automation services among the 10 participating libraries. The consortium development will involve at least bi-monthly
meetings involving the planning group (5 libraries), and monthly meetings involving all participating libraries. Travel funding up to $5000 is available for the participating libraries
through the Idaho State Library via the LSTA grant.
The McCall Public Library is taking the lead in the consortium development and has agreed to apply for the grant and administer the
project if funded. The Finance Department has agreed to provide administrative support for travel reimbursement to the participating libraries. Grant deadline is May 15th.
RECOMMENDED
ACTION:
Approve the grant application and authorize the Mayor to sign.
